Raised On Country Sunshine

The rest of our Anniversary was great. We ate dinner at The Painted Pony, I love it but Kev doesn't too much. They have goblets you drink from, and they are so cold you think your lips are going to stick to it, but they never do. Amazing. I want one.

We exchanged gifts, and Kevy got me this beautiful, dainty pearl bracelet from Tiffany & Co. Oh my goodness I love it! He spoils me too much. And I got him this Burberry button up and a paisley tie.

I know it looks like I'm stretching chewing gum haha, but I'm not. It's a bunch of tiny pearls with the Tiffany & Co heart pendant, and I absolutely LOVE it!

Then on the way home we saw this cool dirt devil. Reminded me of Canada...

Thanks for the perfect ending to a perfect two years! I love you Kevin, with all my soul.

THEN!...even MORE fun times! I went to the Taylor Swift concert Wednesday night with a girl I work with. It was such a blast! Taylor has such a good voice live. So here are just a few pics of the night...

Went to CPK before the concert and Kari joined us for that.

We ended up getting all our meals for free!

Michelle with the best face ever. :D

Had to get some dip-n-dots before it started! Mmm Mmm. My fav.

I Love You Forever

Happy 2 Year Anniversary to me and my sweetheart! Well, it actually isn't until tomorrow (Sept. 25), but we are just hanging out and so I thought I would update my blog while we have a couple hours to kill right now. Kevy is such a sweetheart, he always does whatever he can to make me happy. I love him more than anything in this whole world. And I really do believe that God put him in my life, just handed him to me. A gift. He makes me smile and laugh every day. He ALWAYS know how to make me laugh. Usually by dancing his goofy dances and singing to me. Usually they don't make sense, but as long as they rhyme he calls it a song. Heehee. Oh I just love him and spending all the time I can with him, for the rest of my life. I love you Kevin! You are my sweety peety! xoxo.

We made our anniversary into a weekend and it started off with us golfing at Sand Hollow! It was my first time every actually golfing, and I did bad, but had fun! It was a surprise, Kevin had no idea. He was so excited when I woke him up at 7:15am wearing golf clothes. :D

There was a cute bunny....

Then we ate lunch at a different golf course haha, Coral Canyon.

And it hit the spot! Yum Yum!

We stayed at the Inn at Entrada in St. George for our last anniversary, and thought, hey! that was nice, let's do it again! So, we did. And we actually are right beside the one we stayed in last year. It so beautiful, I will post good pictures of our casita later on.

Our back yard for the weekend, such a pretty waterfall and pond!

We went out to this amazing pizza place, I wish I remember what it was called, oooo was it yummy!

After dinner we went to Tuacahn's The Little Mermaid! They did such a good job. I absolutely loved it. Wish I got a pic with Ariel after, but the line was super long. Oh well. Next year they are doing Aladdin. We may just be returning guests!

My sweetheart reading the newspaper this morning

We were just lazy today, hung out by the pool and got a hot rock massage after

That's as far as we are right now, I'll update my blog on the rest of the weekend this week. Have a happy sunny day!

He Loves You

I got this message from my Mother and I really like it. So I wanted to share...

Sometimes we wonder, 'What did I do to deserve this?' or 'Why did God have to do this to me?' Here is a wonderful explanation!

A daughter is telling her Mother how everything is going wrong, she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away. Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, 'Absolutely Mom, I love your cake.' 'Here, have some cooking oil,' her Mother offers. 'Yuck' says her daughter. 'How about a couple raw eggs?' 'Gross, Mom!' 'Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?' 'Mom, those are all yucky!' To which the mother replies: 'Yes , all those things seem bad all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! '

God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that when He puts these things all in His order, they always work for good! We just have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful! God is crazy about you. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning. Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen.

Hope your day is a piece of cake!!

Fall Fashion

I've been really bad at taking pictures lately, but maybe that's because not too much is going on. So I decided to make a list of fall 'musts' for all those fashionistas out there!

Something I am looking forward to is finding the perfect faux fur vest! The hunt is on....

I'd like to find something like this...

If you are daring enough, a new trend for the fall is bright wash pants! I'm leaning towards red or purple myself...

I think skinnies are the best for sure. I think every girl should have a pair of perfect fitting skinny jeans in their closet. You never have to worry if they are too long to wear with flats or too short to wear with heals, or if they will look too bunchy under boots! If you're gonna start anywhere, start with black. It's very slimming and doesn't show every bulge and bump as well.

Now the next thing, I am not a big fan of myself. Polka Dots! However, if it is the right piece of clothing, and the right size of polka dot, it can be quite feminine and pretty. I love a tiny polka dot blouse the best but most of them are so sheer. I'd just wear a nude/white fitted scoop neck t-shirt underneath.

Yay! Finally modest skirts are in season! Buh-bye mini's! Here comes the midi skirt! I really love pleated midi skirts.

and now....nails. :D

nudes for sure! But try and go two shades darker or lighter than your natural skin tone.
blue hues: chanel came out with 3 new denim inspired colors - blue rebel, coco blue, and blue boy

then of course, RED. I prefer darker reds, but not too dark like a wine color. Something like ESSIE: fishnet stockings:

and last, creamy grey purples like this:

HaVe A bEaUtIfUl FaLl DaY!!
