Fall Fashion

I've been really bad at taking pictures lately, but maybe that's because not too much is going on. So I decided to make a list of fall 'musts' for all those fashionistas out there!

Something I am looking forward to is finding the perfect faux fur vest! The hunt is on....

I'd like to find something like this...

If you are daring enough, a new trend for the fall is bright wash pants! I'm leaning towards red or purple myself...

I think skinnies are the best for sure. I think every girl should have a pair of perfect fitting skinny jeans in their closet. You never have to worry if they are too long to wear with flats or too short to wear with heals, or if they will look too bunchy under boots! If you're gonna start anywhere, start with black. It's very slimming and doesn't show every bulge and bump as well.

Now the next thing, I am not a big fan of myself. Polka Dots! However, if it is the right piece of clothing, and the right size of polka dot, it can be quite feminine and pretty. I love a tiny polka dot blouse the best but most of them are so sheer. I'd just wear a nude/white fitted scoop neck t-shirt underneath.

Yay! Finally modest skirts are in season! Buh-bye mini's! Here comes the midi skirt! I really love pleated midi skirts.

and now....nails. :D

nudes for sure! But try and go two shades darker or lighter than your natural skin tone.
blue hues: chanel came out with 3 new denim inspired colors - blue rebel, coco blue, and blue boy

then of course, RED. I prefer darker reds, but not too dark like a wine color. Something like ESSIE: fishnet stockings:

and last, creamy grey purples like this:

Go UTES!!

To finish off our summer Kevy and I went to Lagoon! I only took one picture of us on the way because my battery died. I think we are getting too old for Lagoon, we didn't last very long and didn't go on as many rides as we used too haha. It was still so much fun though.

We join the MUSS every year and to start the school year off with a bang we attended the UofU vs Montana State game...and we WON! GO UTES!!!

Then to finish off a great week we celebrated my Grandma's 75th birthday! Happy birthday Grandma! We love you! We all ate at the Lion House. And yum yum I just can't resist their rolls. But all my relatives from all over came and it was so good to see everyone! I'm sad that my immediate family couldn't be there for most of the weekend, but oh well, I see them enough anyways haha.

Just outside of the Lion House.
I just had to have a picture with the beautiful Temple Square flowers.

Inside the Joseph Smith Memorial Building

Me with my sweet, beautiful cousin Dee. It was sooo good to see her again! She lives in Cali so it's hard to chat as much as we'd like. Facebook can only do so much. :D
Love you Dee!

August is Over...

Went down the Provo River with the girls I work with. We shoved as many inner tubes in Miranda's car as we could, us all squished in between. Can you see me???

Huge fire on the hill behind my parent's place. We (Me, Mom, Daddy, and Aaron) all went and watched it burn the mountainside. And almost a couple of houses. We have so pretty good firemen here though.

My first week of training at work and I got pulled over by a cop and we got a flat tire. Good thing I had handy-dandy Miranda with me to save the day! Thanks Miranda!

Then last weekend was spent in Lake Powell *sigh*. I wish I could've stayed longer. But Kevin was unable to come down this year. Hopefully we can get EVERYONE down next summer. But this year it was all of us but him! Pretty good! (Daddy, Mom, Levi & Sonnett, Josh & Robynn with James & Austin, Me, and Aaron.

And now...August is over. :(

Getting into the Grove of Things

Kevin and I are still in between moving and getting everything where it needs to be. But I feel more relieved and not as overwhelmed at this point. I started my new job at a dental lab studio and absolutely lOvE iT!! I work with 4 other girls right now, all my age, and all super cute and fun. I am working 8-5 and love that I can be home with Kevin for dinner every night. But I cannot wait until we are completely settled in and Kev is back in school. Just so we have more of a routine.

A couple weeks ago Kevy was in New York City networking and such to try and get an internship there for next summer. Since his flight didn't come in until 9pm Saturday, I went down the Provo river with the girls I work with. It was so much fun! We went down in inner tubes, mine popped against a bush one minute down the river, so I shared with sweet Sammie. It was still super fun, but boy was I sore the next day!! Then Kevy came home, and I was sooooo happy to see him I missed him so much! And he is going back 8 more times.....this semester! So I better get used to it.

Since we are trying to get back into a routine, running and working out is being re-introduced. And since my old runners have the sole falling apart (had them for 3 years now) I got these new babies! They are soooo light, and I absolutely love them and the colors are awesome. I can't wait to start running now! haha.

I just got back from Lake Powell today with my family. Kev couldn't come, so I am so glad to be home with him now. I will post pictures soon about our sunny weekend before school starts! :D

This Weekend

Friday we went to Market Street Grill with the Fullmer's. Rachel, Kevin's sister, works there right now. I really like the one in Cottonwood. It's has pretty views.

So we went to Raging Waters, or 7 Peaks this Saturday. Our tickets and the tubes and stuff said 7 peaks. But the sign said Raging Waters. So I dunno what that's about. Super confusing. Either way, we had fun in the Sun.

Then my hairstylist told me about a restaurant she said I MUST try. It's called The DoDo. And oh my, it was so great. Cool atmosphere and Kevy LOVED his shrimp pasta dish. His new favorite! That's saying a lot, he gets pretty picky with his entrees when it comes to restaurants.

In Between Places

We finally moved out of our apartment and are staying at Kevin's Grandma's condo for the time being. Just a few pics of us at the condo, and the amazing view.
