A Little Box of Sunshine

I have a friend who had an ectopic pregnancy.

7 weeks pregnant.

That's where the egg implants and grows in the fallopian tube.

So she had to have surgery.

And, obviously, lost the baby.

I couldn't even imagine.

My heart just ached for her.

So I threw together this "Little Box of Sunshine".

Hopefully to brighten her day.

(inspired by pinterest and this super cute blog)

I knew she had a dog, Roxy.

So I threw in some treats and toy for her too.

I am so blessed to have the perfect little daughter that I have.

And that pregnancy was pretty normal.

Desiree and I didn't have any complications,

and hope we have none to come.

Ever.

Ha, wouldn't that be nice.

I thank my Heavenly Father every day for our little Squeaks.

I love her.

Kiss Me You Fool

I love loose fitted shirts right now so you can't see my postpartum belly!

Hides that little chubs pouch well.

But the big thing here is I can fit into my pre-preggers jeans!

Yay.

They are a tight fit, but they fit.

Not nicely, though.

But hey, I guess that means there's room to improve??

Metallics {especially silver} are a real hit this summer.

I'm Baaaaaack...

 I haven't been doing outfit posts, and I'm sorry (if any of you even cared).

I just never felt cute while preggers and the thought of blogging made me want to vomit.

Weird, I know, but true. 

So now that I'm feeling, well, not pregnant, and my belly is getting smaller...

I've decided to start doing outfit posts again.

I still have a jelly belly (which you can totes see in my pix) but that's postpartum for ya!

Sweet Life

I like to consider myself pretty luck when it comes to my life. 

All I have ever wanted for the longest time is a little family. 

Not only do I have it though, I have THE best husband, incredibly helpful and cheerful, energetic, and entertaining. 

And we have been so blessed with this little sweet pea. 

She makes me smile all day long. 

Even when she is being a fuss bug; her cry is so cute! 

And I can't forget my puppy boy.

He's been handling everything pretty well with bringing Desiree home. 

And he is so good with her. 

Can't believe she's been here a month now! 

I've loved my whole life, but up to this point I can say I am definitely in the sweet of it. 

Lucky me. :)

Desiree's Nursery

I've had her nursery done for a while and haven't gotten around to taking pictures until today. Whoops. So here, finally, is her cute little nursery... but first some cute pics of her first time out in the sun. :D I just wish I knew how to take good pictures...*sigh*.
