New Makeup and Decor

So I have been searching for a different mascara, not LOVING the ones I have right now (Dior, MAC, and Benefit). So I asked my friend and she recommended trying Mary Kay lash love (I got two). Then for fun I got a lash primer and 'wild about pink' lipstick. I freaking love trying new makeup, so I'll let ya know how it goes.

Then my sweety is letting me change our bedding and I am obsessed with this pillow! So excited to see it all put together once the duvet comes. I'll post pics when it's finished. 

Oh, and I got the faux sheepskin rug I was searching forever for!! Good old etsy.com. Once I get my glider chair I will post some finished nursery pictures. 

Nesting

Welcome back! It's been so long since I've blogged, I'm kind of excited! So I am 37 weeks today, yay! Full term! I go in for an ultrasound in Friday so I get to see Baby Girl and I canNOT wait! They will check if I'm dilated at all, if I'm effacing at all, and if she is facing downward yet. She dropped on Saturday so I've had more comfort in my upper half but less in my lower. To explain: I can breathe and have little to no heartburn anymore, but I have to use the bathroom so much more! So it's all exciting!

Kevin and I finished (for the most part) the nursery this last weekend. It's gonna be so darn perfect and cute! Here's a sneak peek...

None of the pictures or shelves are hung, and we still have to paint the change table. We get the rug in the first week of April and the glider chair in the second week. But if she came this second I think we have everything we need! That is SUCH a relief. I have had pretty bad anxiety about getting everything I needed for her. But now, I can take a breath and take it easy doing minor things here and there until she arrives. 

PREGGERS!

Hello everyone! It's been quite a while since my last post. But let me explain. I, as I'm sure most of you know, am prego! My first trimester was awful! I was sick in bed a lot and didn't even want to open my computer, let alone blog. So, I know I've posted these pix on facebook, but I needed something to blog. My friend Kari said to me the other day, you need to blog but pregnant style! Haha, so let the journey begin...

Playing Catch Up

My computer broke and so I haven't been able to post anything lately...So I have all these outfits piling up and they need to be posted already! I think I am going to make this my grand finale and not post anymore personal style posts. Maybe a few here and there, but not religiously. I love this outfit for two reasons only.1} cute 2} easy. With a bright color {whether it be a shirt, a purse, or a pop of lipstick, it makes the rest of your outfit so much easier: just keep it simple!

I love the look of pastels, it's so soft, girly, pretty, and innocent. I think pastels are one of my favorites right now. Along with polka dots, which I never used to like, until now. Weird I know. But on top of loving this outfit I feel like it's going to be a good week you guys. Maybe I'll get an awesome fortune cookie or something. Hopefully you will too!
