Nothing beats a cup of tea to warm you up inside. Keeping busy working on a few projects! And Beignet is always causing a ruckus. :D All in all, I just love being home sweet home with my hunny bear.

I had so much planning and throwing Rachel's bridal shower last weekend. Here are a few pix of the spread, decor, and games. :D

Game one: (copied from a bridal shower my friend Lyndsi threw a bit ago)

Get a bunch of magazines

Make a list of wedding/love/relationship things (kissing, boy, girl, something blue, flowers, underwear, etc.)

Give everyone scissors and start the timer!

At the end add up who got the most items and the winner gets a prize!

 Game Two: Pop the Question

Fill Balloons with questions you've asked the groom to be

Have the guest of honor pop the balloon and read the question

If she gets it wrong, she has to put a piece of bubble gum in her mouth

Rachel did pretty good, she was lucky, but still had a good wad in her mouth...

Then we opened gifts.

So excited for you Rachel! So glad to be a part of your family and be your favorite sister-in-law. ;)

Got some fillings today. That was nice. I'm gonna be embarrassingly honest right now...I haven't been to the dentist since 2006. Gross, I know. But, the first step is recognizing it, second is admitting it, third step is doing something about it (at least in my book). So here I am laying it on the table. So the last time I had my check up was when I was working in a dental office, so I KNOW what goes on. Ever since then I have been kinda paranoid about it. So, I asked for 'laughing gas' and let me tell you, it did the trick. I just thought every thing was hilarious! But fillings weren't actually too bad, so next time I get fillings I'll pass on the gas.

Sorry the pics didn't turn out very well. Had to do night time shots and hopefully I won't have to ever again. You know how you have those days where you are super duper hyped to clean and do laundry and get stuff done....I'm having one of those days. So I busted out the blog and am gonna run off to bust out more productivity!

Sweety

Yes, I realize I have been not so good at posting lately. I am totally engulfing myself with working out and training for my first half marathon in August! So I run to work, hurry to the gym right after, do one or two classes (an hour long each), then on Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sat I run, rUn, RUN! Plus I am hosting my sister-in-law's bridal shower for this weekend and am being a busy body for that! {yes, there will be pix!}. So I just posted a few pix of me and my sweety at the parent's place. :D

So happy that spring and summer are coming when they are supposed to this year! And I have come up with, let's say a mini bucket list idea, for the summer. Since I am oober baby hungry, as most of you have probably noticed, we are thinking by this time next year I will be prego/have a little bambino. So every weekend {maybe some weekdays}this Summer I plan on doing something we couldn't otherwise do {as easily} as just us two. Here is what I have so far: hike, a lot. water park. theme park. vaca to st. george (check - memorial weekend). vaca to Tahoe with the friends. vegas. boating. rollerblading. run a 5K {signing up this weekend}. run a half marathon {signed up}. swim. get oober tan. hot tubs/hot pots/hot springs. golf lessons {signed up}...and that's all I have so far. Total of 16 weekends. Hopefully we can accomplish all of them and then some!! :D

Too Big

So I fiiiiiiinally got these shoes (in orange) in the mail that I have been drooling over for the past month or so. And every time I tried to get them they were sold out in orange! And it was so frustrating. But the other day, I found them through Dillard's but on back order. Well, they came in the mail today! BUT, I am usually a size 6......but they were TOO BIG! AAARRRGG! So I went online again and now they only have size 6.5 and up. I am going to cry. I might just wear them and deal with the bigness. Cuz I am obsessed! But I really really hate it when shoes are too big for me....sigh. Not a very good ending to my Monday.

My mommy is in town and we are going down to see my new baby nephew this weekend. He was born prematurely and gets to FINALLY go home tomorrow! Can't wait to hold that cute little ity bity baby in my arms! And, of course, spend time with my mama. P.S. maxi dresses are my new go to for lazy days! Don't have to shave the legs and am not a grubby grub looking person all day.
