Seven Months Old

...almost a week late.

My mommy procrastinated and posted about me almost a week late...

My birthday is actually on the 26th.

But today is Daddy's birthday!

He turned 27.

He's the best Daddy in the world.

So I've been eating solids for a month now.

I love rice cereal and squash and carrots.

But, I'm allergic to sweet potatoes.

I am great at my sippy cup.

Ever since I started solids I have been getting so chunky!

Mommy and Daddy love the chubs though.

Just look at that fat and happy face.

I cruise around on all fours all day long.

I'm super speedy.

And I pull myself up on everything.

Daddy timed me and I can stand for a whole 40 seconds on my own!

I can clap my hands.

And wave bye-bye.

And I love to turn the page when Mommy reads to me.

I am a very happy baby.

Mommy and Daddy sure are the luckiest parents in the world.

Six Months Old

Two days late...

I can't believe I'm half way to my first birthday!

Then I can eat lots and lots of cake!

I have my 6 mo. appointment and shots later today.

And the go-ahead to start eating rice cereal!

Don't know how that'll go down, 

but Mommy and Daddy are sure excited to start me on solids!

I got my ears pierced a week and a half ago.

They are a little sore.

Hopefully they heal soon.

But I look stinking adorable!

I've been full blown crawling for about 2 weeks now.

And I can pull myself up on almost anything!

When I'm done my nap I like to wait for Mommy, standing straight up in my crib.

I have two little chompers that came through within the last 2 weeks.

And I babble a ton now that I have them.

And I like to move my head back and forth while holding a toy still in my mouth.

It makes a squeaking noise against my teeth and I love it.

I'm excited for Halloween on Thursday.

Mommy is Wendy, Daddy is Peter Pan, and I am Tinker Bell.

Adorable.

I know.

My Auntie Robynn got home from deployment last week and is in debriefing now.

I get to meet her for the first time in one week!

I am sooooo excited!

Then my Uncle Brett leaves on his mission in a week and a half.

He is going to Mexico, Moneterey East.

And when he gets back I may have a little brother or sister the age I am now!

I will sure miss him.

And hopefully by the time he calls for Mother's Day I will be able to say a word or two to him.

Wyoming

It was about a month ago now that I went to visit Mom and Tom in Smoot, WY.

But it was a good little, relaxing, beautiful getaway.

Smoot is very small, but I LOVE it, so pretty!

It reminds me of my hometown, Priddis.

(I wanted to name Deisree, Priddis but Kevin wouldn't allow it)

Maybe the next girl. ;)

Side note: the first UofU game was played when we went.

Helps to explain all the red awesomeness.

It's really neat, every 18 min. the waterfall rushes out, then completely dries up!

Not man made, well except that landing we are standing on.

Mother Nature is pretty cool.

Kevy and I went out to dinner to try and find a restaurant with a TV so we could watch the game.

No luck.

We ended up being able to stream it from Mom's laptop and hooked it up to the TV.

Fewf. 

Kevin would've died.

 After Sunday church before we went back home.

Five Months Old

I am getting so big!
And stronger and stronger.
I can sit straight up now.
But I'd rather be on my belly so I can scoot around.
I can almost crawl.
I do kind of this face plant/worm maneuver.
Looks silly, but hey, gets me from a to b.
I like to stick my tongue out when I smile sometimes.
I think it's funny when Mommy and Daddy sing to me.
Especially when they are changing my diaper.
I have two little bumps now where my teeth are going to come in.
I'm not full blown teething yet, but any day now!
I am obsessed with my feet.
If I'm wearing socks, they tend to get soaking wet.
I have realized I can grab my headband now.
And I like to pull it into my face.
Sometimes it gets stuck at my eyes.
So I just sit and wait until someone moves it.
But when I'm lucky I get it all the way to my mouth and chomp away!
Mommy and I started working on my Halloween costume.
I'm so excited.
You'll have to wait and see.
I'm going to be oober cute!

Fall is Coming!

Oh my goodness.

I love fall.

Cardigans.

Boots.

Big sweaters.

And celebrating the anniversary of my marriage.

Plus, this will be Desiree's first Halloween.

Lots of costume cuteness to be had.

I bought these cheap and awesome leggings.

The faux leather ones.

Love them, but they are cheap quality.

You get what you pay for.

Unfortunately I can't afford real leather pants.

Dang.

But these are a perfect transitional piece going into fall.

Milo's Blessing

This Sunday we got to enjoy sweet baby Milo's blessing.

Desiree doesn't know it yet,
